  • So basically my friend recommended this place. So I gave it a shot especially with good reviews for the most part. I wanted a gel manicure with design. They told me it'd be $40 because of the $10 charge for design. Okay cool. Unfortunately, after the base color was on, they tried the design on 2 nails, but the design was difficult to see with the colors I wanted. Barely recognizable. So I said bump it forget the design. I'll just get one solid color. So I'm satisfied with the results. I get to the counter to pay, and the manager tells the nail lady who did my nails to charge me $35. HOW!? Lets break this down. It's $30 for a gel manicure. $10 charge for design. I ended up with gel manicure, NO DESIGN! how did my total get to $35? So I inquired about this incorrect math. The nail lady says the manager is charging because I chose 3 different colors!? WTHELL!? I told her that he's crazy and he's taking away part of the tip if I'm being charged extra for nothing! Long story short, since the manager was stubborn, I paid the $35 and THEREFORE the tip was shortened. So it is what it is.
