  • Everyone I talked to loves this place, but I just really didn't, and I was surprised by that since I love "from scratch" diner type places. We went on a Sunday after church and it was packed (20 min wait at 10:15). The place itself is locked in 1984 with lots of mauve and pink. Our waitress was friendly but very harried. We pretty much needed to ask each time for soda, coffee, or water refills. The breakfast items are a bargain and it is hard to spend more than $10 on anything for breakfast. The problem I had was with lunch items. My Hot Mess burger was nicely grilled but lacked any real taste from the pepper jack or chipotle ranch dressing. The Southwest salad was wet and overloaded with dressing and came with flavorless chicken. If you go stick to breakfast or be prepared for a lack of taste.
