I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of Vitamin T. I'm always interested in eating downtown. However, I most likely won't return to Vitamin T. I ordered the three street tacos for $7. The barbacoa was delicious, the other two were just okay. The thing that bothered me the most was the doughy tortilla. I suppose it was corn, but it was hard to tell as it was mushy, under cooked, soft like a flour tortilla... not the quality I'd expect at $2.50 for a mini taco. They should switch to authentic, simple, (corn, water, and lime) corn tortillas. I saw someone else order some chips and was HUGELY disappointed to see that they were low quality store bought variety. The bottom line is the place seems to be a tourist trap for folks visiting downtown. It's like an overpriced yuppie taco truck.
