  • Sanagan's is perfect. I love Sanagan's. The staff is totally helpful, very nice, and, yes, dreamy. But, equally as important: their meat is amazing. Seriously I am now just mad at everyone who has ever sold me a sausage before. The sausages from Sanagan's actually taste like delicious meat, not meat product. They are also happy to order pretty much anything for you. Aesthetically, this is maybe the most beautiful butcher's shop in the world. Gorgeous butcher block, such good-looking meat, and awesome cookbooks. I love this place. I love eating meat, but I might love shopping for meat at Sanagan's even more. It makes me feel like I'm in a small town where people care about customers and farmers. Or, you know, a city where awesome things happen and great shops can thrive. My only request is that they start doing demos in the store, but they kind of already have since people tend to congregate outside the window most days. Sanagan's is a perfect addition to the market.
