  • A must-see in Cleveland not just for the exhibits inside but for the building itself, with an I.M. Pei-designed glass pyramid evocative of another of his architectural masterpieces: the courtyard entrances to the Louvre in Paris. Inside, you'll begin with exhibits that explore the roots of rock and roll and the songs that helped shape it, and you'll also review the hall's inductees. There are several levels devoted to rotating exhibitions. It's all a highly approachable and accessible museum and there are lots of interactive multimedia displays. If you're a local, you'll also benefit from the many special concerts, films, lectures, and other events that the Hall of Fame puts on year-round. Moreover, since there's often something different to see at the museum given its rotating exhibits, it's definitely worth revisiting if it appeals to you the first time around. Overall, a world-class, music-related institution that Cleveland should be proud of, in addition to its symphony, institute of music, and Severance Hall.
