| - Worst customer service ever. Isn't "free trade" wonderful!!! Purchased in the USA. Made by a Canadian company. Tech support courtesy of Mumbai! 12-camera system. The 8-camera harness' power adaptor failed. Out of warranty so we purchase a new one from Lorex. It arrived a week later but was the wrong adaptor. We need 12V 2.5A,,,,they sent 12V .5A. We called "Mumbai" and they apologized for the error and said a new adaptor would be sent "right away" and don't bother returning the first shipment. Whatever. Well, time goes by and no new adaptor. We wind up calling Mumbai again but this time they say we must get a "return authorization" and send back the original shipment for a refund,,,,,then order a new adaptor. They also insinuated that the original order error must have been my mistake. I asked, "why don't you send the correct adaptor and we'll return the wrong one in the box provided"? But,,,NOOOOOOOOO! That makes too much sense. It doesn't adhere to their policy. They emailed me an RMA# and a printable shipping label. It will be sent back for refund but we won't be buying a new one from Lorex. I located a small electronics place locally that had an adaptor (12V 5.0A) and it worked beautifully. Obviously Lorex doesn't look at their Yelp reviews. Otherwise they might actually do something about serving the customer "after the sale".
