  • I would like to start by stating the Neon Museum is a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation of Las Vegas history. For all the reviews complaining that "not all the signs were on," our tour guide Matt told us that the museum doesn't have the budget or a large enough electrical grid to sustain all of the lights being on at the same time. All of the signs in the boneyard were collected through donations. I thought it was super cool. The history was entertaining and Matt did a good job keeping it light. Not just spitting out textbook facts. We went to the late night tour. The lights that were on were cool, and they did have alternative lighting for the signs that weren't on. It is not a cheap ticket, but, again, this is a nonprofit. They can't survive on donations alone. I would recommend everyone who is into old Vegas history to come check this place out.
