Prices during happy hour is decent but the house wines aren't much to brag about. Spend a little more for the Grey Goose martini. Hot boiled shrimp with potatoes is the best deal on happy hour. The portion is big enough to make a meal in itself. Too bad they don't serve this on the regular menu. The catfish beignet is also good.
The quality of fried calamari is better than most places. Fried alligator is decent. And spend a little more for the blue point oysters. They're huge and tasty. I've had the mahi mahi alexander, grilled shrimp and andouille sausage. The latter isn't all healthy but delicious.
Don't get the fish fry or filet steak. I'm picky about fish fry. In my lifetime, I've only found 2 places that makes really good fish fry. One in northwest Phoenix and the other in North Carolina lol. Granted fish fry isn't all that healthy, but I want to be able to see the fish, not taste all the batter and grease. The filet was overpriced and more fatty like a ribeye. Go to a steakhouse instead.
Oh, lets not forget about dessert. Creme brulee is usually my favorite dessert, it's light. They now have the Andes mint cheesecake. The best of both worlds. Yum!!!
