*FLEW ONE WAY FROM LOS ANGELES TO VEGAS TO PURCHASE THIS VEHICLE!!! They did a total bait and switch!!!! Here's how it went down.
Well I was searching for a used 2500 hd diesel Denali. I found the perfect truck on autonations website. It states that the truck was a CERTIFIED PREOWNED GMC truck. This ensures a solid product and includes a 1 year warranty through any gmc dealership. After setting up an appointment with the sales manager Paul to view the truck I booked my flight.
Long story short. I showed up to the dealership at the pre discussed time to find that the salesmen named Ivory hat I was supposed to meet wasn't even In today. So the sales manager sent me over to Geoff. If this was only about Geoff I'd give him 4 stars. But unfortunately this review is about my total experience and the amount of wasted time 100% because of autonations incompetence and the 800$ worth of flights that this dealership wasted for me!
After I was approved and agreed to my 15k down payment I signed all the papers etc. deal was done. The other manager (finance lady) also screwed up my sales tax percentage by over $1,000. I had to have her correct that for me. That lowered my monthly payment, I mean she had my id it had my address and county right there. Anyway that's were it started to go south. Then after the deal was 100% done and I'm ready to walk out the door the salesman comes back to me and says they messed up the car is not gmc certified preowned it is just AutoNation certified which means I only get a 90 day warranty being that I felt that I was already paying $2000 too much for this vehicle the gmc certification really meant a lot to me, meaning I would get a one-year warranty should anything go wrong that was the entire reason I was buying this used truck.
They admitted again it was their mistake and the website should not have said that blah blah. I told them that we could still have a deal if they would come down $1,800 on the total price which they refused to do. What they did offer me was a 20% discount on purchasing a used car warranty through them. I do not feel like I need to pay for anything that this car is already supposed to have and is advertised as such. False advertisement bait and switch wasted two days of my time! Beware. Again I gave them a chance to make this right by deducting 1800 bucks from the total price and I would've lived with the no warranty. Sorry autonation I have a bad taste in my mouth!
Remember this truck was all over their website and others with the GMC certified emblem...see photos attached of their website add!
