  • This past Saturday was my first time checking out Level Up! A group of us went for a friends birthday. After hearing the commotion about this spot, and looking it up online I was extremely excited because they had the virtual reality thing going, an arcade, and alcohol! Games, and alcohol just sounded like a grand time to me! So I was ecstatic! As soon as we get there we head straight to the Virtual Reality booth! It's a bit pricy to play ($50 for 30 minutes) but we didn't care because it's what we've been looking forward to. After reserving our 11pm spot we headed straight to the bar, and ordered drinks. Drinks: I paid $16 for a Jameson & Ginger Ale. I thought it was reasonably priced because of its location, but I overheard a few people complaining on pricing. I guess it just depends what you get but $16 wasn't too bad. Now that we have drinks in our hands we head over to the arcade! Which takes cash only, it doesn't require tokens or a prepaid gaming card like other locations! Not that it matters to me but a heads up for people. There isn't much of a selection on games so that was a bummer. I stuck to playing Jenga, Pool, or basketball because again, selection is not very big and nothing else really caught my attention. Personally, I wouldn't go back. I would rather go to Dave & Busters where drinks are cheaper, and they have a variety of games! Plus you save on having to pay for parking, and navigating through the casino just to find the establishment. Which is always annoying.
