| - - This is a use-dependent review.
We rented the facility for a business event/training event.
The staff was fairly poor at responding to emails and phone calls, so that should have been our first flag.
When we couldn't reach anyone the day before the event, that should have been our second flag.
On arrival at 8:00 a.m., we found their A/V to be a mess; no one knew how to connect audio into their overhead speaker system. The HDMI system worked, but didn't carry audio into their system. There was no A/V staff on-site to assist, and while the distempered event coordinator tried to help, she too, was essentially useless, outside of pointing out to our team how she "carries her event radio on her boots for faster access." That was interesting, as it didn't seem there were enough people on-site to warrant a 'fast-access' requirement. Perhaps there were 4-5 people on site all morning, plus our 40.
Food that was laid out appeared to have been cold-prepared the night before, as the fruits were not fresh, drowning in it's own juices, and the muffins, croissants, etc were already somewhat hard.
The real issue came when the event crew began clearing food very early, leaving nothing for our staff to eat. We paid for the food, as weak as it was, but we would have liked to enjoy some of the food we purchased following the event. Our event ended at noon; by 11:30, all food had been struck, the event person was no where to be found, and we had no one we could speak with.
We found the facility staff arrogant, obnoxious, unhelpful, and uncommunicative.
The day we were there, people were complaining about the availability of activities. We did not see water released, and no one was able to raft or use the facilities from our group.
This is not a place we'll recommend for business activities, although they do have very nicely appointed rooms for conferences (even if the audio never did work).
