  • I took my dog in with a hacking dry cough. I asked Dr Finch to test him for valley fever. He assured me it was allergies not VF. Six months later my dog was going lame, so I took him back and the other vet told me he injured himself and to wait it out. I looked on line and saw that a hacking cough and lameness are sure signs of valley fever. Valley fever is a huge problem in the southwest and these two did not even know the major symptoms. We finally did a titer test and it came back at 32. I took my dog to a natural vet in Prescott and she had never seen a titer that high. After one month of vitamin supplements his titer came down to 16 and two months later it is 9. We didn't need to use the anti-fungal medicine which made him sick. I do not recommend this clinic.
