I don't want to be too hard on Burgundy Lion. Reason is: there is not much in that area... It is really practical to have a good pub in a still underdeveloped neighborhood for nights when you just want to have a good drink in a proper setting. Also a good spot to watch the habs game.
What I like about the Burgundy: Reliable. Cute style. Always open when you need it. The blue cheese salad is a keeper, if you are worried about the calories, you can ask for cheddar instead.
What I am not sure about: the heavy breakfast and brunch. If thick pancakes and chubby sausages are your taste, then Burgundy is your place. English style is good. But for me, might be too heavy.
What I don't like: while there are lots of people there; there's not that much mingling.
