| - Good little buffet. They offered a locals Friday-Sun $30 deal and we're glad we gave it a go! Smaller buffet of the others in town but also less crowded. The staff was nice and everything was clean.
The meat station was pretty good. The usual suspects; Prime Rib, Ham, Roasted Chicken, Smoked Sausage and a Beef Brisket or Roast maybe. They called it Steamship. It was all really good, juicy and tender. We went on Sat night so they also had a Steak Station. The were grilling custom ordered Sirloins. While I usually don't care for a Sirloin, I gave it a try and it was good! Tender, juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly!
The salad bar and the vegetable selection was a little lacking but what they had was good. I tried the Mac and Cheese, excellent! For a buffet especially. The Tamales were also very good and tasted fresh made. I'll say this, it's the first buffet I've been to in Las Vegas where everything tastes fresh made. I didn't taste anything that was bland or dried out.
They also served seafood! Cold Alaskan King Crab, split and oysters and such. Warm sweet Snow Crab, cracked and a few fish dishes and muscles dishes. I only tried the crab but it was delicious! The Snow Crab was super sweet and came out of the shell easily. They come cracked so that helps. The bins were always full, no lines.
And the best part was the dessert!! Let me say again, buffet desserts are usually bland and dry bits of cardboard but this buffet....holy smokes! Every single thing I tried tasted moist, delicious and fresh made.
I posted pics, check them out. Over all, great meal worth $30 for sure. We'll be back!
