We love staying at this hotel when we come to Montreal. The location cannot be beat! You are right on the edge of Old Montreal so it is really easy to catch a cab or uber. If you stay in the old section traffic is extremely challenging to maneuver through.
The hotel has a a great bar with top notch service from the bar tenders and a good list of drinks. They do serve food in the bar lounge area as well and there are plenty of tables. The terrace bar on the roof is open in the summer and is a great spot to hang out if you can get up there and get a table. On nice days there can be a long wait, the bar only sits about 30-40 people.
There is also a cool little Japanese sushi and Izakaya restaurant on the bottom floor in the back, you can access it from the street or from the elevator in the bar/lounge.
The hotel is broken into 4 buildings so there are different elevators that take you to different sections of the hotel. It can be a little confusing at first but you will get the hang of it. We have stayed in the junior suite and also the superior king rooms. Both have been really nice.
The staff is incredible! They are always helpful and kind.
The only thing I would change is depending on the where you stay it can be loud if there are weddings or other parties in the hotel. You will most likely be able to hear the music from the reception halls if your room is close.
We will definitely stay here again!
