  • This is the kind of no-frills experience you really want when you just need to buy something. I needed a king sized boxspring/platform and a frame to use with a mattress I already owned. After doing some research online it looked like both US Mattress and Sleepys would run me about $350 w/ delivery. They aren't really in the business of selling anything other than complete mattress sets and I didn't want to deal with a mattress salesperson. Having seen Charlotte Mattress Warehouse's website I decided to give them a try. I stopped in early on a Friday afternoon - because they have limited hours - and asked about buying just a boxspring and a frame. No problem. They quoted me a price and delivery to Uptown Charlotte was only $25.00 (through on another $25-$40 if you want the delivery guy to carry stuff up and set it up.) Altogether I spent less than $225 for everything and it was delivered later that afternoon. I wasn't home at the time of delivery so the guy called me and I said he could leave it by the front door - no problem. An awesome experience. The next time I need a mattress I'm going here first!
