  • [LOCATION] - 4/5 This place is located on Yonge St and Wellesley St W in the Church Wellesley Village, right next to the Starbucks at the corner. No parking in the direct vicinity. [SERVICE] - 5/5 The staff were very friendly, they also came around with a bottle of white sauce and asked if we wanted extra sauce on our food. [DÉCOR] - 3/5 Clean but nothing too fancy. The chairs and tables served their purpose. [QUALITY] - 4/5 Meats were tender, and vegetables tasted fresh. No complaints about dry meat at this place. [ORDER] - 4/5 - Chicken & Gyro Platter (Regular Size) - $11.30: the star of the show was definitely the rich and creamy white sauce, which paired well with everything in the platter. We also got packets of hot sauce on the side to add some acidity and cut through fat from the white sauce. Orange rice was flavourful and addicting, and pita was soft and fluffy. [OVERALL] - 4/5 I really liked the platter, but I think they put a little too much sauce (gasp!). Even though the sauce tasted amazing, I felt sluggish after the meal. Otherwise, I would recommend The Halal Guys for some delicious Middle Eastern food.
