I came here for the first time with a colleague for a late lunch. The waitress was friendly and attentive but the kitchen seemed a bit slow. For two orders of wings it seemed to take a very long time. The atmosphere seemed ok, like any local pub with a couple of pool tables.
Considering we were drawn by the promise of the best wings in town rating (can't remember the critics) we were a little disappointed. Not that the wings were bad, but just very underwhelming. I chose Louisiana parmesian cheese suicide, (I maybe be off on the name, but it definitely said parmesian suicide) the flavor was ok, but not hot at all. I made the comment to the waitress that suicide hot is usually supposed to be extremely hot, but she pointed out that might be too hot for some people. I think it's really silly to label something that is mildly hot with the word suicide.
All in all, the service was enjoyable, yet a bit slow, but as for the best wings in calgary, my search is still on.
