The first time I came here was a couple weeks after opening so I gave them a pass. This go around they've been open around a year. I ordered a birdsong ipa and the chimichangas (think super troopers).
The beer wasn't very cold, but very fresh. The bar staff was very slow to recognize me while the bartender and manager gossiped at end of bar.
The meal came out quickly. If you want bang for the buck come here because the portion size was humongous. The meal overall was a sloppy success, I enjoyed the flavor and textures on par with any other Mexican joint.
My biggest disappointment was to see they still serve their house margaritas from buckets of pre made margarita. Not mix and they add tequila, just communal buckets of margarita they pour all night. Deal breaker for me, but the food may bring me back.
