  • One star customer service is apparently their thing Duluth Trading seems to have a very high opinion of themselves. So high, in fact, that they will happily tell paying customers to take a flying leap off a bridge rather than take ownership of a problem and settle a dispute with a customer. I successfully completed an order for an item that was on clearance and Duluth Trading cancelled my order without notice. To be fair, they did insist that notice was sent to my email, but I have no record of it in any of my folders and my order history on my account reflected that the item was paid for and shipped. A previous Yelp review on 10/5/15 reflects the exact same issue so clearly this is a recurring problem which they haven't bothered to fix. Duluth Trading has great products but the prices are very high and their business model of blaming the customer for problems is a stunning departure from typical customer service methods used by every other retailer I've ever encountered.
