  • Visiting any Trader Joe's is about timing. I've found that going early on Sunday mornings is the least stressful of options. Yes, this location shares the parking deck with other retailers at the Met, but I've never found it difficult to get a spot on the ground floor level on Sunday mornings. The elevators are large enough to accommodate carts if you need to park on a higher floor and each floor has cart carrels. I've also found it easier to browse because the store isn't as crowded even around holidays on Sunday mornings. This location is well stocked and sometimes has options that I can't find at the other location in Charlotte. For example, this location carries Slingshot cold brew coffee, which is locally made in Durham. Definitely be mindful though of checking expiration dates here especially with the produce, dairy, and meats. You sometimes have to dig into the way back to find things that are not close to expiring.
