  • A place I love in a neighbourhood I love. I highly recommend Drift. I always look at the menu, think about trying something new, and end up getting a burger and poutine. I go with the aged cheddar because I'm not a fan of blue cheese. I recently topped my burger with crispy jalapenos and I'll never go back. Delicious. The poutine's gravy has a great, subtle flavour; the amount of cheese curds is generous, as is the portion size. Definitely try to convince someone to share with you. The one quibble I have is I'd like them to reconsider Red Rose as their black tea selection. I get that I might be the only one who come there and orders tea (they have an extensive beer menu and probably cater to alcohol drinkers), but the choice is so inconsistent with the quality of the rest of their inputs, I wish they'd upgrade.
