  • Unlike others, I had a decent experience renting a 16' truck for moving. Didn't have any issues renting, surprise fees or gotchas. I found a good promo code online and it saved me a bunch on the rental. The truck was pretty good on gas, too. What this place misses is that the front tires were balding and that wouldn't be safe for anyone going more than a couple hundred miles. I encourage you to truly inspect the vehicle completely and determine if it's safe to use for the length of your trip. I did blow a tire many years ago - not fun. When I returned, I informed the person at the desk and they wrote it down somewhere. Anyhow, moving in Phoenix sucks during the summer, so I got a head start and did it now. No issues with this place. Would rent here again. Also the truck I rented had an ice-cold air conditioner, which is nice, too. Tip: Google for "Budget truck discount code" - find a discount code. Copy the code, clear your cookies and cache, and use the code when booking. I saved 35% off base price and gas!
