We took our Silverado in to get shocks replaced. After they finished, I called one or two days later to ask why I hear a grinding noise in my front end. Mark, my service guy, never returned my call.
After days went by, I assumed the grinding may be my brakes. I took my truck to Tire Works to have them replace my brakes and told them of the grinding noise when I come to a complete stop. Tire Works completed the brake job and brought me the cause of my grinding. Vise grips from Chevrolet! They were clamped onto one of the front shocks. It even has the tool number stamped on it.
On tomorrow, I am heading to Chevrolet to discuss their negligence. This is the second major problem I've encountered in the past 3 weeks that requires me to see the service manager.
This is not the place to go if you're expecting high quality service and support.
