A dim sum restaurant outside the confines of Chinatown? We were skeptical at first, but heard good reviews from true dim-sum'ers.
We decided to give it a try during our vacation visit and ate there for lunch. The wait was well over 45-minutes (weekday) so expect to wait patiently.
Once we finally sat down, we ordered the usual foodies and was not disappointed. The typical dishes were fresh and not heavy and greasy as we have come to expect at similar venues.
Service was rather attentive and the push cart ladies were friendly and generally sincere in trying to help you get a particular dim sum dish.
In addition to the hoard of dim sum dishes we ate, we also ordered a few rice/noodle dishes. The salted fish chicken fried rice was a disappointment as it was bland and seemed out of place with the use of uncooked shredded cabbage. We also ordered a few other noodle dishes. Nothing spectacular, just okay.
Stick with the dim sum and you will not be disappointed.
