  • I have lived in Toronto for almost four years now. I have not been able to find a salon that feels friendly, open and truly listens to what you would like done with your hair! A friend referred me to Salon Mod - specifically, Natasha. She is awesome. She takes the time to really look at your hair and your face. They really live up to what they outline on their website. The location is clean, friendly and they always greet you with a beverage which is a lovely touch. The coffee is great. I have become accustom to paying ridiculous prices for a cut in Toronto and this place is on par with other salons in the city. There are loads of characters that work in the salon, especially the co-owner. The staff are all professional, patient and make the space accessible. Often I find new salon's intimidating, but this place welcomes anyone. Speaking to accessibility, it is close to transit and parking. I didn't give this place a five quiet yet - I've been twice and can't wait to see how things go the next time I am there. If you are looking for a home salon - this should be your place. And Natasha, your stylist!
