Location is great. Everything by the Capitol has something going for it. We liked sitting outside in the shady patio on a hot summers day. And that is about all we liked.
The Sunday brunch menu was limited. Brunch was the only option at 2:00 pm on Sunday. It does not change to diner until 3:00 pm.
I ordered a Bagel and Lox and salad, my companion ordered Bibimbap burrito. The lox was inedible. I've had lox many times before. Never had I had lox as salty as a bacon cheeseburger. My partner tasted it and agreed, that it was too salty. When I asked the server about it, she said it was because it was cured. Well, yes, lox is prepared in a brine but it should not be tough to where I need a knife to cut it nor should it taste like a salt lick. Maybe it was prepackaged and sitting for a while or maybe I am spoiled by Jewish delis of Chicago that get lox right, but I could not eat it. The small salad was fine.
The Bibimbap burrito was not all that. Lots of rice, quoina, dry tortilla. Pork was excellent quality. Probably wouldn't order it again.
