  • If you have been to LV many many times (like some (unnamed) friends who seem to visit every other weekend), then I highly recommend that you check out Palms Place sometime. If you are a first-timer, it might be better for you to just stay on the strip. They DO NOT have a frequent-member club with points and freebies... BUMMER. Palms Place is an extension of the original Palms. It's very new, sleek, and clean. All of the rooms were originally supposed to be condos so they all come with kitchens and have that studio feeling. I don't know who in the world might need a kitchen in Vegas so I feel like they could've used that space for something else. C'mon your'e in Vegas.. are you really going to start cutting up vegetables and slap a steak on the grill? Ooh and I almost forgot. I was on the 7th floor and the patio doors wouldn't open. My friend stayed on the 20th floor (or so) and her doors did open. So how is it safer to let the patio doors open when you're higher up in the air? I tried their morning room service and the food arrived in no time. They add on a pricey service fee but the food is still really good. I also tried their spa and it is totally worth it. Very relaxing and only $25. They start early in the morning and end at 8pm. So the reason why I tell Vegas newbies to consider someplace else on the strip is because Palms Place only has one bar lounge. You either have to walk over to the Palms casino or you have to take a cab to the strip. For some people I'm sure this can be very annoying. The most memorable part of my whole experience was the tub. Make sure you use the tub!! Oh, and a bunch of people posted a picture of this heavenly tub in their room.. but I didn't get it that!!!! I just got the normal studio room and got a normal looking tub in the bathroom.. so you might want to check the website or ask before you book the room and really want that luxurious looking tub. Even though I got the normal looking tub it was awesome because it came with the jacuzzi style bubble maker (bad vocab I know)... in the end it was so worth it.
