  • Bianca Amore's kind of reminds me of the days of going to garage sales, without the awkwardness of sifting through things that still belong to somebody else, and bartering for that last quarter. The cement floors, bare walls and no-frills warehouse style decor definitely don't give you a Walmart feel, which is appropriate because you won't be finding the latest in electronics, designer lable clothing and brand name food products within these walls. What you WILL find is a lot of really cool little things that will draw a lot of curious glances and "Where did you get THAT?" comments. Serving as kind of the unknown little sister to Liquidation World, Bianca's plays up exactly what it is by cutting every possible frill and selling the most impractical, "you would never need this in a million years, but it's really cool to have" type stuff. Sure, there are practical things too (albeit not the best quality ones, after all, you get what you pay for) but the real fun of this place is the framed posters of long forgotten movies or musicians, the etched crystal Ninja Turtles figurines, the strange gardening impliments that you imagine must have had an 'As Seen On TV' sticker on them back in the 1980's... hell, they even have a wall covered with swords. Yes, swords. There are more conventional things too like no name stationary and tools, to DVD bins that hide a few forgotten and unknown gems in a sea of Steven Segall cast offs, that make the dig half the fun. This isn't the sort of place I'd go with a shopping list and expect to just 'grab a couple things and go' like I would at a place like Walmart, but I always tell my friends if you're down to about 10 bucks and want a fun way to spend an afternoon, head down to Bianca's. You can kill a couple hours just browsing through the huge warehouse of marked down... everything... and maybe find something cool in the process. But whatever you do... take the time to enjoy the hunt!!!
