Everyone talking about their horrible experiences in the ER at this hospital are correct. Went there in really bad pain. They did tests and gave me an antibiotic with no pain medication. Just sent me home in pain with an Antibiotic. I went back to the hospital after the meds made me violently sick and they gave me a prescription for a medication I'm allergic to so my pharmacist who REALLY knows medication and my allergies to medication over the last 20 years told me I shouldn't take it. She called the doctor and he tells her I'm not allergic to it? She said 11% of people with my history have a bad reaction to this medicine. She insisted that I am allergic and that it really concerns her and thinks I need an alternative. He said he gave it to me in an IV at the hospital and I was fine. I told her I absolutely did not get an antibiotics in IV that night. She explains to him that she has a list of all my medications and this prescription will have adverse affects on my health and she's looking at me and can physically see how sick I am. He refuses to change the prescription for her. I called the hospital myself and spoke to a nurse who tells they it's written in my chart that I refused the IV antibiotics while I was in the hospital which I absolutely did not do. I say that's really bad to chart lies. One lie to the pharmacist directly from the doctor and another lie in the charts? That's scary!
So I'm still here sick and no medication because they just don't care about people. STAY away from this place. I've filed a grievance with the state and the pharmacist supports my reporting it. Don't go to the administration either. They don't care either. Come back in and be re-evaluated. Ummm no way!
