This such a fun golf course...i played from the black because that is about my level game...i would consider myself average golfer...13 handicapper...started with an outside temperature of 96 by the turn it got up to 106 but it did not feel hot cause the staff was great giving out cold towel and ice at the course...pleanty of clean filtered water fillup stations throughout the course and if you prefer other beverages the cart lady is always going around...i shot 7 over in the front and 2 over at the back nine...i was told that the back nine might be harder hitting from the black tee but i did not have too many issues today..the whole course is in great condition...even the greens which was punched a few days ago was not too bad...it does run slow since your ball could hop a little but i did not have much of an issue...i take my two putts and i just move on...the pace of play was perfect for me, i could have finished in 3.5 hours but i slowed down and killed some time by just enjoying the view throughout the course...the are plenty of fully grown palm trees whuch the starter did nit forget to proudly showcase when i got to the first tee, these trees you can use to get out of the searing sun which i capitalized on a lot...just don't hit or land your ball between them...no problem for me there today...all in all the whole experience was great golf in vegas...i saw a review for these course touching on how pricey it is which i agree, but the same person says it might be better left for tourist which i agree as well...if you are local, i am sure you can find better deals around your residence, but if you have not played this course at least once, then you are missing out on las vegas golf experience...i should get some comp for writing up this great review...any body reading this from the company owning both this and Royal Links, throw me a free vacation package here... :)
