  • After researching solar for about 6 months and tired of getting the run around from many of the other solar companies , I figured I would look into buying a system off the internet and then hire a certified installer to put the system in . So I started calling many installers . I called Robco and had a meeting with them . It turned out to be a better purchase for Solar from Robco with all the equipment and the install and a better warranty & price then me buying a system off the internet and having anyone install the system that I would have bought off the internet . The Owner Bruce & Lenny the salesman met me to discuss the Solar . Both of these Gentlemen were great to talk with and help me with the purchase . After talking with both of them , I knew right then and there I would be buying from them as well as I my neighbor . So I signed the purchase right then, and my neighbor bought the next day when Lenny came over to there house . There price was better than anyone that I had spoken with about Solar from any other company in town . The install was Awesome . It would have been done in 2 days but the inspector never showed on the 2 nd day , so when they came back on the 3rd day the inspector came and signed off . They tested the equipment to make sure everything was running correctly like it should . I had no doubts . They use top Solar panels made in the USA and Enphase micro inverters . The Solar panels & the Enphase inverters both come with 25 year warranties ... The install started on Tuesday May 26 th and the crew finished the install on the 28 th. The Crew are very professional and very friendly. They answered any question I had if I asked them anything. The inspector came out on Friday the 29 th to do the final inspection and sign off . Collin who is in the office working hard and then notifies Nv Power when the Solar install is compete so that they know you need to have your net meter installed . I came home on June 2 nd and I noticed my alarm clock blinking. I said oh no we lost power, then I realized that maybe a slight chance Nv Power came to change our meter . To our surprise , we were now making our own energy , they did install our new net meter . I can`t tell anyone enough how awesome everyone is at this company . If you are thinking about going Solar , don`t wait to much longer since Nv Power has a 3 % net metering cap right now . Buy your system now , even if only offsets lets say 50 % of what you use. at least you will have the net meter and be grandfathered in on it . You can always expand and make your Solar system larger to offset more off your energy costs . But I suggest buy the bigger system from the start while you can take advantage of the 30 % tax rebate only good through 2015 . You cannot go wrong buying from this company . Everyone , like I mentioned is professional , and friendly . Lenny stays on top of things as well as Collin to make sure everything is going smoothly .
