| - Not really anything special to say about this place. Needed 4 wheel balancing, guy put the order in.
When in customer service especially in the automotive industry you need the first guy you interact with to instill confidence and a sense of relief since most don't know anything about their cars (me included). I didn't really get that. Angel was very well versed in selling the 6 month no interest credit they offer for new tires and a complete alignment service. I declined.
Prior to receiving my car, my battery was bad as well and needed to be replaced for a low cost of 180 dollar battery and 1 hour of labor at 110 dollars. Replacing a battery doesn't take an hour, he decided to swap on 1/2 hour labor. I declined.
These diagnostic tests that are ran on the computer are great "directions" for what is wrong, but what is lacking is the experience and "showing" of what is wrong. Anyone can google and hook a computer to something, but actually getting in and checking is so much better and something I would love to hear and see, rather than "the computer said this."
Coming in for a 75 dollar balancing, if I took all the recommendations I would have left with a 1300 dollar bill, wow. If you guys are unaware, most people don't have that kind of money to spend. Find another way to sell the service. ie. - let someone know when they need to replace the battery based on its life, let someone know how much tread is on the tire and when to come back in to replace, give an idea of how often an alignment and tire rotation is needed, etc. If a customer knows what needs to be done and when, they can plan and save for the repairs and you would have more returning service at those prices. Most don't come into your business with a pocket full of money ready to spend it on stuff a computer said is wrong. Returning business is the best business!!
Overall your company is called "Tire Works", we come in to get our tires serviced and that's what I came for. If you want more business from me and others, get a showroom of a mechanic shop and not just a bunch of rims and tires that are on a BMW.
Based on today, I hope I can get on the road and not have issues like some of the other reviewers posted.
