  • This is definitely the place to stay if you're going to the zoo. We had a room on the newly renovated fourth floor. Even though it's next to the freeway, we didn't have any road noise or any noise complaints in general. Then again, it seemed like a quiet weekend. The room was attractive, clean and comfortable. The pool is a little too chlorinated so we all coughed a bit when we first came in for a swim. Also, the pool is not heated and too cold for me but the whirlpool was nice. The continental breakfast wasn't the best I've had, but it was free and adequate. It's less than ten miles from downtown Toronto but traffic is pretty awful. Parking and wi-fi are free. It's a good value overall.
