Ate lunch here on a Monday afternoon. We started with the goat cheese queso which was outstanding. It was so delicious I couldn't wrap my head around it! You MUST order it when you come here.
Unfortunately, everything else was so-so. My margarita was a little too sweet for my liking. I didn't care for the bread options, a jalapeƱo corn bread and a spicy French bread. I ordered a burger because I've always wanted to try one of Bobby's burgers, but I was soo disappointed! Perhaps I had really high expectations? But it wouldn't even make my top 10 favorite burgers. Although it was gorgeous, the burger patty had some meat tendons in it that skeeved me out, it was so greasy that when I picked it up everything kind of slid off of the bun so it was super hard to eat. The southwestern fries were ok as well, they were really just seasoned fries. For an $18 burger I expected a lot more.
The service was great though, fast and efficient. It is a little tight in here, we were sat at a table for 2 and were almost rubbing elbows with the table next to us.
I have dined at other Bobby Flay restaurants and fallen in love, I won't give up on him just yet!
