Came here for a aerial yoga class hosted by Lole, taught by Arial. The space is really beautiful with exposed brick and chandeliers! It is beneath City Dance Corps, so there was a lot of stomping overhead but it didn't bother me too much (you are so focused on the moves anyway!). There is a very small change room with hangers and cubbies.
Arial was a great teacher -- most of us in the class were first timers, so she came around a lot to help us if we were having any difficulties getting into postures. The silk is really supportive and it makes some poses easier (warrior 3 with a supported leg) and some a lot more challenging (think flying side plank!!). It also allows for some nice passive stretches, and savasanna in a silk hammock is an experience like no other!!
I can definitely see why this would be a fun activity to do with friends (e.g. birthday, bachelorette). I would certainly come back to do a class again or try the pilates reformer. It's a nice way to switch things up and keep things playful in your workouts!
