This is my second time at the office. The first time, there was a glitch in the check-in system and the doctor left without seeing me. At this visit, when the doctor, Dr. Murat Mardirossian, asked me about my concerns and I told him I wanted referrals to a dermatologist and podiatrist, he told me that the issues I had mentioned were best dealt with by a PCP. As a physician myself, I understand that PCPs are well trained but he approached this in an aggressive and confrontational manner. When I questioned him about his hostile approach, he told me he was "explaining" the role of the primary care physician. He then asked me to sit on the exam table and started trying to remove my shirt. Ummm... I am a female patient alone in the room with a male physician who has just reacted in a hostile way to questioning. I definitely don't want to be naked in front of this person. He told me he'd write me a referral and left the room. All I can say is that if I acted in this manner with my patients, I'd quickly be without a job.
