Definitely one of the best shawarma places in the city. The other location on Spadina is constantly failing their health inspections, but thankfully this location doesn't have the same issues. Their dinner platters may be a bit on the pricey side compared to Ali Baba's, but you get a ton of food for the cost, though the amount of meat (and quality of service) you get sometimes varies with who is serving you and time of day. I find it you're there dinner instead of lunch, they tend to be a bit more generous with the meat. Speaking of the meat, it is much better seasoned and much tastier than other places I've tried, and their vegetable selection is also extremely varied (the garlic potatoes are incredible), so I always make sure to ask for half the rice and extra veg instead. Also beware that their hot sauce is quite tasty (and looks homemade), but is also super spicy. Perfect post-workout meal.
