I found Pride Beauty Studio on Yelp because I needed a makeup artist for my upcoming wedding. I seen they had a couple vouchers on their Yelp page so I reviewed it and called Janny to make an appointment. I asked her about the vouchers and she said that I could use it. I purchased the voucher in July and we scheduled an appointment for late September to do a makeup trial, then one in October for the wedding. Janny contacts me a few days before the trial to ask if we could reschedule
for the next weekend because she had some things come up. Luckily I was able to reschedule and I went on with the weekend. When Saturday gets here she text me first thing in the morning and says
"Good morning dear... I'm sorry to give bad news bad I'm going to have to cancel today, I'm not going to be able to do the wedding because I got news that I have to go back home the weekend of your bday." Birthday?! I was confused.. this is not just some birthday I'm wanting to do my makeup for! This is a wedding that is ONE MONTH AWAY THAT YOU ARE CANCELING ON ME FOR!!
Then ask her if she would be able to refund the voucher I purchased and she replies, "With Yelp, you have to contact them because I haven't used Yelp in 2 years :(" Why is she just now telling me this?! How very unorganized is she?!
She said she would try to get another one of her artist to take over and do the trial and wedding makeup, she has still yet to contact me. Way to keep customers in the door, because she definitely just lost one.
