  • I was really impressed with the drinks and apps here. We had the croquettes and the pineapple guacamole with plantain chips. Both were unique and delicious. The drinks score big points on presentation, taste and alcohol content. I ordered a hibiscus cocktail with pineapple juice and pisco (Peruvian brandy), and it was fabulous! My table decided it was everyone's favorite drink, and all cocktails can be ordered by the pitcher. Their mojito is made with champagne instead of club soda/sparkling water. It was also delicious. I want to come back for happy hour because the drinks and apps are the highlight here. Our server told us the GM is a botanist, and she loves creating new, interesting cocktails. For my main dish, I went with the traditional jerk chicken tacos and the leek empanadas. The tacos lacked some flavor and were on the bland side, but I noticed friends at our table struggling with the spice of their flank steak tacos, downing their drinks and watering from their eyes and noses in discomfort, so given that scenario, I probably made a better choice. The empanada was soft, yet crispy and packed with flavor.
