This was my second time attending this Renaissance festival. To be honest, I'm not really impressed by it. In fact, I haven't found a Renaissance festival/faire that I can say I am overly impressed with.
You can really go through the whole festival in about and hour. There are a few shows to watch, but they are nothing special. All of the vendors are in one area, which I think is a big mistake. There was one half of the festival that hardly had any people. The food vendors are kept in the same area as the people selling stuff so it makes for a crowded mess.
One frustrating thing for me about Renaissance festivals in general is how they don't stick to the time period. Pirates are everywhere. As are Star Wars characters, Steampunk enthusiasts, vampires, and tons of Utilikilts. I also saw a few Wonder Woman characters. So why call it a Renaissance festival?
The one thing I was impressed with was the fact that the beer prices were reasonable. $5 for Miller Lite. You can get a 24oz Foster's for $12 if you wanted. Also, the meat pie food vendor was the best. The prices were reasonable and the pies were flavorful.
Admission is $15 per person and parking is free. Which is nice considering other festivals charge you for parking. So if you want something do for an afternoon one weekend a year, the Renaissance festival is a good option.
