| - Dress warm! This venue is outdoors and if you brought your kids to skate while you watch and wait or unless you reserve a fire pit table or hide out in the bathroom you will freeze your bum off!
First of all, we decided to venture to the Strip on a Saturday, pack your patience people, the roads are a parking lot! Especially before the holidays! Speaking of parking, it's free the first hour and then $7.00 for four hours, after that you pay the daily rate of $10. I called to get these details but unfortunately tonight was "event" parking rate, there must've been a concert or something at one of their venues...
If you don't read anything else reading this:
1. When you first arrive there is a waiver station you must sign with their iPad devices, stop here first!
2. After you complete the waiver, get in line to pay... It is $10 for locals Tuesday through Friday or $20 every other day... I bought The Living Social Deal, 2 for $30 including skate rental...for the weekend.
3. If you or your children or are timid or dreadful ice skaters, you may want to rent the reindeer or seal device, (this gadget is like training wheels for ice skaters) for $10. Stay in this line and be prepared to leave your drivers license as collateral. I made the mistake of getting out of line and had to get back in at the end!
All in all it was a good experience for the kids, I think it would be fun with a group of adult friends who are in the mood to party, with another parent or with a partner as your wing man! My daughter and her friend said that many of the grownups were inebriated but it was funny to them, at least everyone was having a good time and we were surrounded by happy playful drunks... I posted some pictures of the food selection and prices...
