Friday night is a fun night to come here for karaoke. Great, warm atmosphere. Pool table, darts. TVs all around. It's bright enough to see the the karaoke singers so if you're shy, you can't hide.
Food is okay. The poutine is *NOT* traditional poutine. Instead, it's steak-cut fries smothered in brown gravy with melted cheddar cheese and fried mozzarella sticks. Totally not what I expected when I ordered it off the menu. It tasted fine- like hangover food- but it was NOT the poutine I desired.
The scotch eggs were okay. My Englishman hubby felt the crust was too crispy and thick.
I'd come back here for the beer and the camaraderie.
