  • i really regret going to this place. i don't know why they are listed on my insurance directory as they are truly scam artists. i went there because my front tooth had broken off on the business trip. sensing that i was desperate, the dentist really decided to screw me over. i was told that my insurance was closed so they were not able to verify coverage for a temporary crown and that i would need to pay by credit card. i was assured 4 times that i would get a refund for the difference based on their charge and my insurance's contracted rate. they charged me $900 for a temporary crown and billed my insurance for the less than the amount. i was refunded $122...i was expecting at least a $450 refund. when my dentist in laguna beach heard how much they had charged me for the crown she almost fell off of her chair as she had told me that she charges $63 for a temporary crown. i called desert dental to ask why they had charged so much for a temporary crown and their rational was that dental work in AZ cost more that laguna beach, CA, which is totally BS. spineless people like this really makes me blood boil. shame on you dr. abedi!
