  • Got to experience the Marvel Avengers Station at the T.I. today. For a limited time, if you are a guest of T.I., admission is free. They do charge a $5 service charge for some reason, and if you want to use their interactive hand held device, that would be another $5. So , full price would be $32 admission, plus the $10 for the service charge and device. Alternatively, you could stay at T.I., download the application to your smartphone, and just pay the service fee of $5. Because staying at TI gets in the entire family, that would be a tremendous savings, as currently they are running a $59 roommate deal with no resort fee. Now on to the exhibit. I must admit, I am not well versed in the Marvel characters, as most of the information was foreign to me. And that's why the exhibit was overwhelming to me. There was so much information in every room that it would be a stretch to read it all and see the exhibit, and do the interactive games in the time allocated. I'm sure true Marvel fans would have some sort of working base of knowledge which would have been helpful, and I can see how the exhibit would be mesmerizing to them. In addition, the quality of he exhibit and true props were top notch. You went from room to room with a different theme, and if you chose to play the interactive tool, were in a quest to gather information. As a novice, I gave up on using the app that I downloaded on my iPhone, and just walked the exhibit enjoying the sets and props. I really wasn't in the mood to do "work" , and to truly get everything out of the exhibit, you have to gather information, answer questions, and take pictures. I was just too tired to do that today. Stunning visuals in each room with several life sized costumes, and huge video screens showing information all around you. Again, if you are a Marvel Comic fan, this would be right up your alley! They say to take 1 hr and 30 min to do the exhibit. We finished in about 30 min without doing the interactive technology and games. One of the aspects of app is to take several pictures within the exhibit which I think you could download or print at the end of the journey. All in all, a visually creative venue built for Marvel fans, with immersive interactivity and stunning visuals. Yelp check in gets 20% off, but TI resort gets get in free for a limited time.
