  • Had my first ever tattoo done here by Matt and could not be happier with Matt, 27 Studio, and the entire experience as a whole! After reading a lot of reviews on the various mediums and doing a LOT of research, I settled in on 27 Studio. I met with Apryl who after listening to me talk for about 10 minutes respectfully steered me toward another artist on in the Studio - Matt, not because she couldn't do the work but because it was more of his style and thought he'd be a better fit. That decision in itself garnered a lot of admiration and respect from me - how many people do that? Matt was extremely personable and listened to exactly what I wanted, offering suggestions and guidance as needed. Within a few days I came back to look at the first sketch - perfect, it was EXACTLY what I wanted and asked for. Matt's work was EXCEPTIONAL and surpassed everything that I was expecting my tattoo to be! His work honors my years in the service and is something I'll wear with pride forever. An intangible worth mentioning here is his "bedside manner." You of course want your artists to give you an exceptional tattoo (which Matt did). What you don't expect is someone that pleasantly interacts with you for 3 hours for the entire experience. You cannot go wrong with Matt and 27 Studio. Thanks again to Matt for giving me a better tattoo experience than I could have ever imagined!
