  • Old school private members club. I have been here many times over the years as a guest. Service is professional and you are expected to abide by the club rules (dining room requires jacket and don't use your phone except in specific areas). Food has ranged from very good to okay. Quality is always good and service has been pretty good. On one occasion the server dropped sauce on my back by accident, the manager immediately came by to help clean me up and asked me to send them dry cleaning bill for suit, shirt etc. Accidents happen but how a place responds tells you a lot and they performed very well. Even permitting me to take off jacket during lunch. Breakfasts have been excellently prepared and tasty. Steaks I've had were perf curly cooked and good accompaniments. They could use a renovation. Creaky floors and old carpeting are showing their age. I do like that their washrooms are well equipped as would be expected from a private club with shoe buffers, clothes brush and grooming products.
