  • Certainly off the beaten path, but we loved Hoche Glace. We recently visited Montreal from NYC and basically tried to eat as many vegan things as possible. The options here were great and the staff seemed totally knowledgeable, despite some other reviews to the contrary and the fact that we cannot speak French. I loved the hard-shell topping and thought the ice cream was great! Totally similar to other vegan soft-serve I have had in many other places.
