I have had bad luck with waxing places! I have been using the same lady for over a year in my nail salon and should have just stuck to her. I wanted to try EWC because I was gifted a Brazilian package for my wedding last year. They burned my eyebrows. I went to my dermatologist because they claimed it could have been the washes I used. I had been waxing with the same skin treatments for over a year. The dermatologist looked at my skin and said it wasn't because of the washes. I took my sister here a month ago to try this place instead. They assured me they would provide wonderful service. I explained the whole situation and the current manager that day said it would be fine. Scheduling an appointment was a pain and the regular receptionist was actually really nice but Ashley the manager was short and rude on the phone. I made an appointment and went with my sister. She was the same in person. Rude and condescending. I do not understand how she was made a manager. Then she told me because of my washes I couldn't be waxed! I'm just going back to my regular eyebrow tech at this point but mostly I am irritated because they wasted my time and were rude when I arrived. I don't mind that they have that policy but they could have trained their staff to inform clients of that when they call or, in my case, check in person a month in advance. They should also take the time to educate their managers to be professional with clients and NOT roll their eyes at them. Common sense. Then she was upset because I didn't want to leave them a copy of my license! What the hell! I'm certainly not going to try and sneak in to provide them business. Ridiculous. Terrible terrible service. Awful manager. Take your business elsewhere!
