  • We were on a food frenzy during our visit for 3 days to Phoenix. We couldn't leave without some form of dessert! Urban cookies didn't disappoint with their coconut pineapple cookie. It was soft, moist, and delish. They weren't stingy with the coconut and it definitely showed within the texture. Unfortunately, the chocolate chip cookie was overcooked. The bottom was burnt so it just wasn't desirable. We also tried the banana bread which I thought was tasty. I believe it was vegan but you really couldn't tell the difference. It was super moist and the flavors were all there. We also tried a twix cupcake and vanilla cupcake. These were the winner winners. The frosting was on point. The cupcake was perfectly moist. I didn't even see a crumb leftover from either cupcake. Nice find. All in all, if I'm ever back in town, I'd come back and check this place out again. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and very imformative. He helped run through some of his favorites and he was on point. They also have a parking lot. Score! 4 stars.
